The Formation of TriMas Packaging

TriMas Packaging was created by bringing together a group of long‑established, highly respected packaging innovators into a single, unified global company. Each business contributed its own rich history, deep technical expertise and strong market presence, now operating collectively as TriMas Packaging.

United by a shared mission, TriMas Packaging is committed to delivering high‑quality, sustainable and highly engineered dispensing, closure and flexible packaging solutions that elevate product performance, enhance the consumer experience and drive innovation across a wide range of end markets.

Rieke^®

Rieke brings more than 100 years of dispensing and closure expertise, serving the beauty & personal care, food & beverage, home care, pharmaceutical & nutraceutical, and industrial markets. Known for durable, high‑performance solutions, from dispenser pumps and sprayers to aseptic food caps and industrial drum closures, Rieke has long been a leader in e‑commerce‑ready and sustainable design. Its innovations, including Flexspout®, VISEGRIP® and TaperStack™, contribute foundational capabilities to TriMas Packaging.

Affaba & Ferrari™

With more than 70 years of engineering excellence, Affaba & Ferrari joined the TriMas Packaging family in 2020. Its specialization in aseptic and tethered caps for beverages, dairy and energy drinks, along with advanced child‑resistant and tamper‑evident solutions, expanded the group’s technical depth. Affaba & Ferrari adds critical expertise in regulatory compliance, CO₂‑reducing processes and precision closure technology, further strengthening TriMas Packaging’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Taplast™

Acquired in 2019, Taplast brings more than 45 years of innovation across beauty, personal care, home care and food dispensing systems. Known for product aesthetics, user experience and engineering excellence, Taplast introduced award‑winning products such as the AllPlastic® pump, Soffio sprayer and Rapida pump. Taplast enhances TriMas Packaging’s design leadership and sustainability‑focused solutions through its deep commitment to engineering excellence and continuous innovation.

Rapak^®

Rapak, acquired in 2020, adds more than 30 years of leadership in bag‑in‑box flexible packaging and filling technologies. Its portfolio, including dispensing taps, connectors and the Autokap™ line of filling machines, introduced a new category of high‑performance flexible packaging to TriMas Packaging. Innovations such as the PCSS fitment and DuraBev™ film further strengthen the group’s capabilities across beverage, liquid food and non‑food applications.

With more than 50 years of expertise in home care closures, Plastic Srl became part of TriMas Packaging in 2019. Plastic Srl’s portfolio includes dosing, pouring, push‑pull, flip‑top, child‑resistant and refill‑focused closures, offering significant engineering flexibility and customization strength. Its deep specialization supports many of the world’s leading household product brands.

Aarts Packaging

Aarts Packaging, acquired in 2023, contributes more than 80 years of craftsmanship and innovation in luxury packaging for high‑end beauty, lifestyle, pharmaceutical and food markets. From fragrance closures and pumps to cosmetic compacts and precision‑molded jars, Aarts brings advanced automation, decorative finishing and high‑precision molding capabilities that elevate TriMas Packaging’s presence in premium categories.
